I am an Adult Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from U Of T in 1995 from the ACNP program. My practice focus for over 20 years has been Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant at Princess Margaret/UHN. I have recently transitioned to a rehabilitation and restorative care environment in St. Catharines, ON, with a goal of combining my oncology knowledge with rehabilitation and care of elderly to help develop new program areas that can address the needs of older oncology patients. Assessing and preventing frailty is an area of practice interest for me and also developing care processes to ensure safe and effective transitions is a priority for me along with the use of technology to support patient and caregiver engagement. I live in Niagara and I am excited for this partnership and learning opportunity. The spoke hub model is an excellent way to bring expertise to underserved areas.
