My career in health care started out as a HCA in a nursing home then studied on to be a nurse with multiple certificates and continuous education in acute and Long term care. I was a trauma nurse and I have been involved in working with chronic diseases as a TPN coordinator in Manitoba. I gravitated back to LTC and had exciting opportunity of opening a nursing home and being an administrator of a LTC facility. I then opened a retirement community with extended care and ran several PCH in Saskatchewan. I have a very big interest in dementia care and am currently enrolled in the University of Tasmania in dementiaa care
