I am a Recreational Therapist working on a CCC unit. This includes our Behaviours unit (locked), chronic care and slow stream rehab. We serve patients with many diagnosis' including dementia, stroke, brain injury and other cognitive impairments. My role is currently as an Activities Consultant and I co-ordinate program at both our Whitby and Bowmanville sites. I work directly with patients as well as supporting staff in dealing with challenging behaviours they encounter when running programs.
